While the building may look old and worn, appearances are deceiving. Inside the hotel is stylish, neat and clean. Rooms are spacious and comfy, and offer excellent opportunities for rest and recreation. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is very good. A great place to stay!

Stavanger is lovely. Hotel really central, rooms lovely, beds comfy, food good. Your a 5min walk to the harbour where there is bars, restaurants, museums and shops. We took one of the boat tours to the Lysefjord - really worth doing. Another highlight was the trip to Flor og Fjaere a must do...if there is a heaven, it surely must... More

The suites are really comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. In addition to this, the rooms are clean and the hotel is situated in the centre of Stavanger, so you are within a walking distance of just about everything you need.

I have stayed here before, and liked the location. Close to the city, train station, airport bus etc. Walking distance to every attraction in Stavanger. The last time we stayed here, the hotel was in the last leg of being renovated, but had opened for guests. It was a bit noisy, and dusty. But the staff was friendly, and the... More

I see that this Hotel is being extended, yet they are still accepting guests, how stupid. If they want to extend or do renovations then close the Hotel. They are supposed to be supplying a service for guests. How can they possibly do this whilst carrying out building work, and also continue to charge normal rates for guests. If they... More

Stay here one night for a conference. The conference facilities were good and well managed being underground with all the facilities to hand I found this a good and clean business hotel. The only issue was the fire alarm being set off at 7.00 am by someone who hadn't closed their shower door with the humidity setting off the alarm.... More

The hotel is expanding; adding 2 floors. In spite of the noise and dirt from the work, we chose to stay a week. Absolutely value for money, everything almost perfect. Almost because the breakfast has been better, could be we were a bit late down, being B-persons.

You know you're in for a bad experience when there's a note on the night stand telling you to use the provided ear plugs at night because there will be construction noises in the hotel. And then there aren't any ear plugs! This hotel is under a total renovation. There is scaffolding surround the building, with lots of flapping plastic.... More

There are so many good things to say about this hotel. First, the location couldn't be better. It is a three minute walk from the bus and train station, next to a major intersection, and a few minutes walk from several museums and a lake and park. Even walking to the downtown area or old town is only about ten... More
