Decent hotel, clean but the rooms are old and overpriced like all the hotels in Stavanger more

Our stay here was by far the most expensive of our recent trip to Scandinavia, yet the furniture was shabby and worn, the room dirty, and the pillows like giant rocks. On the plus side, the hotel staff was relatively helpful and friendly. Overall, a very disappointing experience for a high price.... more

Just what I needed - nice, clean, comfortable room and good service. I didn't get to the hotel until approx. 3am due to flight delays, but there was still someone at the desk who could check me in and answer questions. (I only found out later that the airline *should* offer you a phone call or email to pass on... more

I agree with another reviewer that many posts here are overly negative. The Park Inn is a 10 min walk from town, but if you're traveling to the business district (Forus), then it's actually a benefit avoiding all the central morning traffic. There's are city busses and individual company shuttles that stop right outside the hotel that deliver you directly... more

My wife and I spent one night here on the 14th May, as part of a Trafalgar Tour, central location, quiet and the town has to be seen to be believed, with its charming timber buildings on the wharfs. Big tick for Trafalgar Tours more

Luckily i was here on business so the company paid ,. I would have hated the thought of having to pay over £100 / night for this place and i know Stavanger is very expensive . Very dated , very average accomodation . Clean enough , bar / restaurant pretty basic and again very expensive . Staff very helpful and... more

I have never payed so much for such a crappy room! In order to access the room, I had to climb one staircase and enter one door, before getting to the elevator (an antique piece), open two doors before entering a small room, with pink wall-to-wall carpet, a bathroom which barely was big enough for the toilet, and decorated with... more

Not convinced with this hotel. It's OK if you come buy car, but a minor trek along a road with quite a lot of traffic when arriving buy bus/train - ok, I arrived around rushhour - at night the road was peaceful. First grievance is having to pay for Internet access. Most hotels I stay in have free access, but... more

I’ve read the comments made by the other guests and I will admit that the hotel is located a kilometre outside the city centre. However, walking into town is not a problem, the location is easily accessible by car and the hotel has its own large parking garage. I don’t agree that the hotel was dated, though. The restaurant and... more
