Stayed here while in town for an oil & gas conference. Nice place, warm bathroom tiles, free wifi, large bed. Overall I had a pleasant stay. This place is ok for a short stay, but if you are in town for more than a few nights look elsewhere. I found the rooms small, noisey and uncomfortable. Arrived here during the first snowstorm in Stavanger of the Winter. The hotel is on a steep hill leading down to the harbour area (about a 5 minute walk). I booked this hotel because it had a swimming pool but it was so cold I couldn't use it. The water was freezing the jacuzzi wasn't much better and even the changing rooms were too cold. Up a steep hill from town and wouldn't stay there again as it wasn't worth the extra. more

Very ordinary indeed. I had an upgraded 'business' room, which was no better than a standard room in most four stars. Up a steep hill from the city centre. Nothing to write home about. more
