I stayed a night at the hotel with my family of nine in the occasion of my dad's birthday and also dined at the restaurant in the evening. The check-in took one hour, despite just four or five persons/families in the queue, which is ridiculous. When it was finally our turn, there was no apology or comment for the long... More

I could write a lot, but will just list the facts: 1) PARKING there's no hotel parking, not even an agreement with the closeby parking lots to pay directly at the hotel: you have to go out, put the coins and place the ticket on your windshield if you want to avoid a fine. That's valid also for weekend, starting... More

The stay at Scandic Seilet was mixed. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly and welcoming, so we were off to a good start. The room was okay. Spacious, clean. The bed was okay, but not great. The bathroom was fair, and definitely clean. The breakfast was absolutely divine. Such a vast list of options, and the display was really appetizing.... More

I reserved a room for one night 16th - 17th December, by phone on December 12th. As my flight had a late arrival, I was asked to give my credit card number, which I did. On arrival on the 16th, they could not find my reservation, and after all other guests had been checked in, they found my reservation, and... More

This used to be good hotel, ever since it rebranded it's gone downhill in a big way. When I arrived in the evening I had a shower, there was no hot water or water pressure, the following mornings shower was good, it had hot water and water pressure. When I went for breakfast all the hot food was cold, the... More

I've been to this hotel at several occasions, and the reason for me writing this review now, is that it has become noticeably worse since it went from Rica to Scandic. The breakfast has always been excellent at this hotel, but this time it was not much to brag about. The fruit seemed to be of a lesser quality than... More

Astonishing location, and we had a nice room with a spectacular view from our room on the 12. floor. Service OK, food OK, but we expected a little bit more from the breakfast (i.e. freshly made waffles and pancakes).

The Rica Seilet Hotel in Molde, Norway is located right at the edge of the fjord and is shaped like a sail with an all-glass exterior, mirroring the unique scenery in this area. It is part of a modern row of structures which also includes the the Aker soccer stadium next-door, the Molde Fjordstuer Hotel and a few others. The... More

A really nice hotel by the fjord. Large and quiet rooms. Excellent breakfast! I've stayed there twice the last month, and I'd love to go back. Bring your hiking shoes and go for a walk to Varden or one of the other surrounding peaks.
