We came to Molde by chance and looked for a place to stay. This was the first time we got familiar with the Rica hotels in Norway. This hotel was a great treat. 1. The view from the rooms are amazing. Just lay in bed and smile. 2. Breakfast was the best we had in this trip. Wow!!! Stay if... More

Hotel was a few blocks from downtown and adjacent to a soccer stadium. Dining room had good food. Chocolate wafers at the front desk for guests! Bikes could be borrowed to explore town. Adjacent to the water. Comfortable rooms.

We are a family of four, including two teenaged boys, from Calgary, Canada. July 2014 was our first trip to Norway, and we stayed at three Rica hotels whilst there, in Oslo, Lillehamer and Molde. Oslo was good, Lillihamer was great, but Molde was absolutely stunning and spectacular. It was also a great value for the cost, or at least... More

Booked a deluxe room with the balcony which offered wonderful views that evening and the following morning. - Your neighbour could stand on their balcony and look into your room! Sound of the flooring could be heard from next door but nothing else. A well furnished room and bathroom although we found that the power goes off when the lights... More

We stated for one night and made sure we booked a deluxe room to get the balcony and amazing views. The bed is very comfortable, bathroom is good with a lovely shower - the products were very nice. We didn't have a soap dispenser as others have mentioned, we had individual products - my assumption is that they didn't have... More

What is it about Rica Hotels that don't like their guests using the toiletries. This is the second one in a week where the shower gel dispenser has not been replenished prior to arrival. It smacks of a lack of adequate room supervision. The kettle in our room didn't work either. Not a good start! We travelled as a group... More

We spent a night here on our road trip up the coast from Bergen. The main reason we drove this far up the coast was to see the "Atlantic road" section. It was not worth it. The drives up the coast from Bergen till Trollstigen will give you all the views you want so if that's the only purpose I... More

We stayed over night at this hotel during a recent visit to the area around the Atlantic Road on Norway's west coast. The staff were welcoming and coped well with our lack of Norwegian and included a Norwegian woman who had spent a couple of years in Australia. The rooms were well fitted out with excellent beds. Breakfast was provided... More

Thiis hotel is modern and new. The staff and service was exceptional. The breakfast was a cut above with a massive collection of fruit and freshly pressed juices available. Possibly the best breakfast I have ever had. The most amazing feature of this hotel is the view. Most rooms have a 180 degree of the water and mountains with the... More

Stayed one night on business. New restaurant menu was very limited and the steak I was delivered was mediocre and not the one I ordered (it would have been my 2nd choice so I accepted it). Breakfast was very good and the views from the restaurant and sky bar were fantastic, so I would stay there again but head somewhere... More
