The Comfort Hotel Fosna is probably a gold-mine to the Choice group. The rooms (I've been in at least 10 of them) are without exeption horrible. Dirty, smelly, there's always something broken (Last time there were no curtains so I had to use towels (or change to a even smaller room).
In the bathrooms expect to find broken tiles, 1970's style shower mixers that change temperatures at own will, loose toilets and discoloured wallpapers.
The hotel has a distinct smell to it, kindof like old milk. You never get used to it, actually.
So why a goldmine? Due to oil and gas activities with base in Kristiansund hotels are always full. Therefore the prices (at least on weekdays, when I'm there) matches what you pay at a pretty nice hotel elsewhere (1400-1500/night for single room)

So, if you can avoid it, stay far, far away. more
