My family of five arrived one late evening after driving for some nine hours. We had called in advance to ask for room availability, informing them that we have Hotel Express card. Upon arrival we were told that the card only applies to the cardholder (fair enough), so the second room would have to be on full price. But what... More

Best Western Hotel Baronen near Aalesund has a nice big room but hot and no air con so windows must be open as the tick carpet on floor keeps the room warm on a summers night. Bathroom good size good showers . Breakfast is good lovely Norwegian food and bread . The down fall is the hotel shares it accommodation... More

Typical working/business hotel without soul but with good breakfast and evening meal included. Rooms renovated by poor materials and old furnitures. Profesional and helpful stuff is a advantage. Bowling and some restaurands around. Shoping mall is not far as well.

The first time my wife and I stayed in a BW of north European. During summer holiday, I can't find a car park when checking in at late afternoon. Hotel staff was helpful and selected a corner room with big window for us. The room was big, really big for 2. The window was right opposite a quiet road and... More

Arriving at the Baronen Hotel, I wondered if we had made the biggest mistake chosing this hotel. It is one of the shadiest looking hotels from the outside - it is co-located with a bowling alley and there is a wine bar next door. But it was a long day of driving and I was too tired to try and... Over many years I have stayed & mainly had by business partners stay at this hotel. It was good to see that this hotel had joined the Best Western - Group. I feel that this has given the hotel an uplift, Also now with the recent re-build after the shopping center was taken away. Today the hotel has a very... More

A 3 night stay that i enjoyed every minute of! It's a great place if you want to try a hotel outside the city centre. Staff were easy to talk to on check in and explained what they could offer guests, breakfast routines and also informed us that we could book a shuttle bus to the airport. This cost 130... More

When you are in Norway, you get used to being ripped off for everything. But of all the hotels we tried on our trip, this one felt good value for money. The room was large, well decorated, and prepared for us when we arrived in the evening - I had asked for a 3rd bed for my daughter. The decor... More

We were 4 persons who stayed at this hotel in two nights in mid July. Excellent hotel: Large rooms with very good beds, new bathrooms, tv and free wifi. All as nice and clean as you can want it. The only thing we didn't like was that there were carpets on the floors. One of our rooms had a very... More
