I spent three nights in Bergen in different hotels and rooms. As I was going to a party in Sandviken on the Saturday I moved out to this hotel. Tiny room, small bath. Would have been ok if not for the price! I paid NOK 1415 for one night w/breakfast (limited variety compared to hotels in town). I paid NOK... More

I was booked into this hotel by my customer. The roow was basic, good shower and heated floor but the rest of the room was always cold, even after I switched on the electrrical heating under the window. Breakfast was fine although you find minced bacon and some kind of scrambled eggs, but ok to eat in the end. Food... More

A reasonably comfortable and clean hotel situated about 3km. north of Bergen in a good residential area near the sea. City easily accessible by public transport. Hotel has small rooms and a small but well planned shower. Spartan furnishing, free wifi and a good breakfast served in a comfortable dining hall. Parking available for a fee.Staff very friendly and helpful.... More

There is really nothing wrong with this hotel. It is clean, it has small but ok rooms. The few people working there are nice enough. But. This is a hotel with no charm in one of Scandinavias most charming citys. Or it would have been, if it had actually been in the city. The city proper is on the UNESCO-list... More

The Sandviken Brygge Hotel was located just outside the main city, but we used the bus which was a very short ride. The room was small but clean and we didn’t might the size. We felt a like disappointment towards the breakfast. It was great……..but same time not horrible – it would have been better.

Nice and clean hotel, breakfast ok, rooms on the smaller side- we had two beds- but they were just centimeters apart. Easy access to the city by bus. Bus stop just outside. Everything you need for a reasonable price.

This hotel is NOT in the Bryggen tourist area of Bergen. We arrived in Bergen in the evening and couldn't find anyone who could tell us how to get to the hotel. No one answered the hotel phone number we had gotten with our online reservation. We walked to Bryggen, and then people told us all different ways to go,... More

This is one time where I kind of wish I could give 3.5 stars because we found the hotel staff to be excellent but there were a few things lacking which make me unable to rate this a "very good". Essentially we paid a lot of money to stay in this hotel, of course, Norway is expensive but the price... More

The room was clean, but shabby, needing a good lick of paint and a freshening up. The bed was too soft and pressed against the wall and very difficult to access. Staff at the desk were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was not clean, poorly staffed and the breakfast buffet was limited. I stayed here because the conference I... More

We arrived in Bergen without any lodging arranged. We checked with the tourist office and they presented a few expensive options (well...everything is expensive, so it's all relative). Sandviken Brygge had one of the slightly better rates but was on the edge of town. We opted to try them out - we called ahead and they were very pleasant on... More
