This hotel is located about 10 minutes (uphill!) walk from the city center, but worth the trek. It appeared to be a refurbished historic building with lots of charm. The front desk was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was small (not too many hot items) but sufficient. Tea and coffee and brownies (!) were served all day. My room... More

The staff of this hotel are extremely helpful and courteous with providing directions, dining suggestions, walking routes, and just plain helpful. We had a spacious room on the top floor which was quite comfortable. I would say the only problem was the shower, which could definitely be larger. Also, there is no elevator (lift). Aside from that, we enjoyed our... More

This was a cozy stay in hotel in a quiet neighborhood, with a short walk to the city centre. We have received a nice room with a small balcony. We had a nice view over the city. We have enjoyed breakfast very much, we have enjoyed homemade things and warm bread and small cakes. In the afternoon you could enjoy... More

Located is a very quiet neighborhood, yet quite close to the city centre, this hotel is a very nice hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. We enjoyed the breakfast which was not lavish like the 5*, but in my opinion was far more delicious. The Wifi was on and off and we had to take passwords multiple times and is... More

I selected this hotel based on the exterior-it looked so beautiful. The Hotel Park is a member of De Historiske, and I love old hotels with character. We were here for two nights. Our room was on the ground floor (really basement) of the annex across the street from the original building, so I was a little disappointed in our... More

We stayed 3 nights (wish it were more) and we were so comfortable that we did not want to leave. Our room #014 was in the new building, in the "basement" which simply means ground level since the hotel sits on a very sloped street. The room was perfectly well-appointed with everything you need (and we found the beds very... More

We only stayed one night, it was lovely, not in the town center but Bergen is small anyway, it's in a quiet area, lovely decorated with the historic things, we really like it. Breakfast is not big but all in good quality and fresh. Just be aware there is no lift coz it's a really old building and you need... More

Stayed overnight during Norway in a Nutshell tour. Attracted by reviews of the "boutique hotel", charming pics on tripadvisor, and offer of free brownies. Paid 1690 NOK@Booking.com. Selected this hotel above Scandic which was similar priced. Decided to take a cab from train station to avoid dragging luggage uphill, cost 133 NOK ( taxi driver took a short cut somewhere,... More

Historic hotel. Close to everything. B&B good. A short walk to the main street. Lots of restaurants, bars, pubs. A nice city, both in rain and sunshine. The hotel is a 5 min walk from a famous rock pub, Hulen.

We really wanted to like it here, but couldn't. We thought the breakfasts were a snug fit, but they were adequate. The staff was pleasant and attended the our concerns. We were not in the main hotel, but in a building across the street. First off, parking is NOT included in the your hotel price. It's an extra 20 dollars/day.... More
