The Grand Terminus hotel in Bergen gave us exactly what we were looking for; a nice place, close to the train station for an acceptable price (which in Norway is not the same as a low price since hotels are in general rather expensive). Hotel is in a great position in relation to the train station. If you arrive by train, you leave by the side door on the right of the station and the hotel is in front of you.
