We stayed a night at this hotel before moving on to Flam on boat. I have two small kids and needless to say a lot of luggage that goes with them, the Deluxe room on top floor was perfect and very spacious. Bedroom has double bed and the cot and the "living room" was also with a double bed and... More

This is a great place to stay in Bergen. It is right around the corner from Bryggen, the historic downtown city center. The room was cozy and cute, and had heated bathroom floors which was an unexpected surprise! The breakfast buffet was amazing!! Every kind of breakfast food imaginable including smoked salmon which I'm sure isn't cheap. The staff was... More

Very close to the harbor. We had a two bedroom family room. It was ok. The beds were too old. We did not have any views - it was in the back of the hotel, looking at another hotel's back wall. Not interesting. Breakfast was good.

I have just looked at the website and noticed how much bigger the rooms are to what we stayed in....being part of a large tour group, once again we were given the tiniest room but the other aspects of this hotel made up for the shortfall. Room was very tiny but cosy. Bedding comfy and the ability to open up... More

Chosen via booking.com this proved to be a inspired choice with a wonderful room overlooking the harbour which cost only £150 per night for the two of us. Bargain. Staff on reception and elsewhere very high standard and I suspect Norwegion. The whole hotel exuded quality and the breakfast was epic and starts at 06.30 during the week which is... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times and will come back on my next trip to Bergen. It has a great location which is central but not noisy. It is just a short walk to Fisketorget and Fløybanen. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms vary a lot in size.

Most hotel middle of the range in Bergen are more expensive than they should be, or would be any where else. Having said that this was is OK. The room is pleasant and a good size for this City. The carpets in the passage ways are a little worn in places, but it is clean and tidy. Beware at breakfast,... More

The hotel is located in a great location. Rooms are large . Breakfast was very crowded and difficult to get a seat. Complimentary wifi a PLUS! Hotel is close to shopping and many restaurants. Hotel is great for group tours.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel as part of out Gate 1 Scandinavia bus tour. We were lucky enough to have gotten a large room. There were also heated floors in the bathroom. We had no problem with any noise. The location was great - easy walk to the funicular and fish market. Free wifi.

This place has a great location, and some rooms have lovely views. But beyond that, it's disappointing. Our room (426) was not one of the more spacious rooms, and the bathroom in particular was small with a small bathtub. Like many reviewers have said, the place is stuck in a time warp: the décor and facilities are tired, dated and... More
