The location is good, easy walking distance from all of Bergen's great attractions but still quiet. Rooms clean, quiet and comfortable with plenty of space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty but, best of all, the free waffles/coffee/tea in the early evening were yummy! A real treat to relax with in the cosy lounge after... more

This is a friendly hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very helpful when we needed to book ferry online to secure best price. Great buffet breakfast. Nice treat was the complimentary waffles available in the lounge in the early evening, which set you up, before dinner. Our rooms decor was a little dated. Two single beds were pushed together,... more

The Augustin Hotel in Bergen is situated very close to the harbour but not really at the harbour itself, so don't expect a lovely view over the water. When we arrived at the hotel the lady at the reception welcomed us with an overwhelming enthusiasm. That looked promising! But when we arrived at the room we could not help but... more

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They really go out of their way to make things easy and pleasant, and to look thrilled to do so. They called cabs, made dinner reservations, printed our emails, provided maps--all while appearing that our requests brightened their day. The public rooms are cosy and comfy. The main lounge/sitting room is... more

I stayed in this hotel for one night during my trip to Oslo. It was pretty good location to explore the city. Room was small (normal to European standards) but good for one person. The best was the breakfast. It was included in the price. I recommend this hotel for any kind of traveler but get the fjords card for... more

Beautiful hotel, cozy and good location; very helpful and nice staff. Try the restaurant, although the service was not very good. We would definitely stay there again! more

Friendly little hotel with comfortable rooms, funky furniture and free waffles and coffee in the lounge late afternoon - saved on dinner! more

Very welcoming staff, we had a cute room in the eaves of the old part of the building. Breakfast was a good standard. There is free internet access in the lobby and also free tea and coffee in the lounge (unheard of in Norway - something free!). Really lovely stay, five minutes from the Torget fishmarket and across the harbour... more

Friendly place with clean rooms, a decent breakfast, and within walking distance of the fish market and everything touristy. I would certainly consider booking there again if returning to Bergen. more

Staff team very welcoming and nice. Great position of the hotel but many rooms don't have any nice view of the bay. Breakfast is very good but room too small and consequentially it is too crowdy. The hotel oberall need a refreshment of the fornitures. more
