We've just stayed at Scandic Bergen Airport for 2 nights over the recent weekend. We couldn't find a hotel in the town centre one month prior to the trip so this hotel was kind of the only reasonably priced option. The hotel is 2km from the airport. We stayed for one night here on a recommendation, which turned out to be a good one. The hotel, as the name suggests, is near the airport and has a free bus transfer in the morning. First of all there is currently no hotel actually in Bergen Airport (although apparently one's being built). So although this is called the airport hotel you have to take a taxi to it (it cost us about £6)from the airport, there were loads of taxis though so we didn't have to wait (although the driver didn't help with our endless... more
