This hotel was by no means terrible. It was our cheapest option for a well located hotel in Bergen that wasn't already booked. It was convenient for arrival (right next to port for fast boat from Balestrand), and for departure (short walk to bus stop for express bus to airport). the hotel was average in most aspects, except the staff was very friendly. one can walk from both the train station ( 15 minutes) and the cruise dock (10 minutes) if you want to avoid coslty taxis.

A nice hotel in Bergen City center - usually good room rates - good service - clean rooms.

We stayed here for a family visit From the outside the hotel doesn't look great but the rooms have been renovated and are clean. Breakfast was OK with plenty of choices. The location is good because it's close to the city-center, tourist attractions and shoppingstreets. We would definitely go back when we are in Bergen.
