an authentic Norwegian small B&B. Just beyond the center of town. Great location just beyond the heart of tourism. Walking distance to all. Phenomenal Norwegian breakfast and responsive staff. When the staff learned we were leaving prior to the breakfast hour they arranged to serve breakfast early for us. We would definitely return

We were in Bergen just overnight after spending a busy day doing the Norway on the nutshell from Oslo to Bergen. We got there at 8:30pm and we thought getting to the hotel seemed like a long walk from the train station. But the next day, it was really nothing. Bergen is a small place to walk around anyhow. Actually... More

We spent three nights in this hotel and loved it. It's in a small, charming neighbourhood, very close to the centre of town (5 mins walk). The rooms are of a decent size, not very large, but large enough to put our suitcases etc. I did have to get used to the bathroom, which is a 'wetroom', but my boyfriend,... More

Thanks for this feedback! We have now renovated our bathrooms, and put in shower doors to avoid the "water" problem :-) I’m glad you enjoyed the breakfast! we are proud of it. Welcome back to us and Bergen, Aleksander – Manager More

We stayed two nights in August. The pluses were that the room was clean and comfortable, the shower was delightful, and the location was in a residential neighborhood a bit removed from the main tourist area. Also, the front desk staff members were accommodating and helpful. However, the hotel lacks the amenities and level of comfort we had come to... More

From the outside it is an old traditional looking building and it fits in well in its location. The location is around 30 minutes walk up a gentle hill from the railway station. It is around 15 minutes from the centre of town and the tourist info centre. The room was clean modern with a spacious bathroom with a bath.... More

This is a lovely small hotel in a quiet and charming residential area of Bergen with a splendid view of the town. It is comfortably far from (and because Bergen is so small, also close enough to) the hordes. Granted, we visited in September after much of the busyness. Americans in particular will be shocked at the size of the... More

Good location, good breakfast, comfortable room. Although the single room is tiny, the space is enough.

We stayed here after reading trip advisor reviews and hotel website. Room was smaller than expected, but lovely with lots of window area. Coffee and fresh herbal teas in room. Silk curtains, very comfy décor, huge bathroom. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Location very good. Walk to all things including boat pier 5-10 minutes away. Nice quiet area. Breakfast... More

The hotel is well located slightly outside the core, in a quiet part of the City, but easily walkable to all the major attractions and train station. The rooms are bright and welcoming and we had a room on the top floor that had some nice views to the city and mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful and the... More

I can say, my room was not too big, probably, even small but I love these cosy nooks under the very roofs with windows opening directly into the sky. Beautyfull view is guarantied! I also love these quite streets with smart 2-storeys buildings where nothing could disturbe you in the night. Soft bed, well furnished bathroom, lavish breakfast - it... More
