I really like this hotel when it was rica, sorry to say its not the same now. But have its really good sides:) Good things: Location, nice breakfast, cleen, nice staff. Bad things: in my room wire goes on floor not against wall so you can easy trip on it. Bad tv signal! Bad bed. Abit of noise if you... More

The room is very small and the view out the window the worst ever (a narrow shaft between wings), but the place is cozy, warm, and conveniently-located in downtown Bergen. A block or so from the Airport Bus stop at Festplassen and a short walk to Bryggen and the Fishmarket. The heated floor in the spotless little bathroom is a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was good. There were three separate beds for us - very comfortable- which was fine as we weren't staying very long. bathroom also fine- very clean but smallish. We were a little disappointed with the actual allocation of room as we had booked early and paid up front so we expected something... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2014

Stayed one night in superior room, top floor for leisure purposes. Room was ok, more like a standard room and nothing superior about it. Everything in the hotel, including rooms and corridors seemed a little worn out. It was a bit cold in the room (December)and we found no way to turn up the heat. Lovely bottles in bathroom for... I stayed there in December 2014 for one night and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Apparently some of the rooms get refurbished at the moment but there was no builder’s noise. The hotel has an advertisement in the elevator that they make the best breakfast in town; well I haven’t tasted every breakfast in... More

Spent one night with wife and 8 yr boy. A great hotel, good location in central Bergen. Decenst sized room (601), modern and clean. Scandic Byparken has propably the best breakfast in Bergen! The hotel can be a bit "boring" - no pub or bar in the hotel. Recommended, but i know the single-room can be very small.

The room I stayed in was small. Really small. However, it had a decent bathroom, flat screen TV, WiFi and it was clean! In other words, quite alright if you're only using the hotel for sleeping. I slept okay, but found the room a bit warm. The staff were friendly and helpful. Smiling faces all around. Breakfast was excellent with... More

Nice quiet and clean well equipped rooms. A wonderful outstanding breakfast buffet incl everything, and the some, and a super fine service alltogether. It is located nicely in the centre of Bergen. This will not be the last visit.

For this price, I would have expected a far nicer room. Room is small and not that nice for the requested price. Staff was friendly. No parking and you have to pay separately for it (two minutes walking from hotel). No restaurant but one of the greatest breakfast buffet I have ever seen. For this, one point more.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am happy to hear you enjoyed our breakfast. We have now also open the restaurant for dinner every Tuesday through Saturday from 18:00 to 22:00. Regarding the rooms, we do have larger rooms. I hope to see you soon again, and do try our superior rooms. There are great... More
