My friend and I stayed in this hotel in the summer of 2011 and we found this hotel to be exquisite, although rather expensive. This hotel offered delectable food, an array of pleasant staff and a clean and wonderfully situated hotel in the quaint and beautiful city of Bergen.

We experienced none of the problems noted in recent reviews. The hotel is perfectly located for sightseeing in Bergen. It is walking distance to the train station--even to the Hurtigruten terminal, though if you have a lot of luggage, it might be easier to take a taxi there. We received an upgrade to a "business class" room, which was wonderful.... More

Its in great downtown location short walk to waterfront however its very tired and almost shabby, a bit of a throwback to 1960's and badly needs a makeover, keeps itself busy and full with tourists headed for cruise ships to the fjiords and obviously they don't feel its necessary to upgrade. I went on business so little choice

The face lift that is currently ongoing won't fix the problems at the Radisson Blu Hotel Norge. The rooms need help, too. A draw front fell off and a closet door wouldn't close. Maybe the housekeeping staff need to be incented for reported problems in the rooms? They also need to be incented for replacing cups, glasses, toilet paper and... More

Having got lost in the one way system, we finally ended up at the Hotel Norge in Bergen. Radisson went some way to redeem their reputation here in Bergen, though again the trademark fatigue could be seen without having to look too closely. How much time and effort would it have taken to replace the 2 bits of cladding that... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your nice feedback to us and our hotel. We really appreciated it. Regarding the pillar in the breakfast lounge, we will of course look into that. We hope you will come back to us next time you visit Bergen! On behalf of the hotel team, I wish you a nice summer. More

Hotel is an old property and badly in need of renovation. The only good thing about hotel is the location. Every thing is so near. Breakfast was average and I am definately going to avoid the hotel on my next visit to Bergen. Took the tour - Norway in a Nut Shell, the guide was amazing and really enjoyed the... More

While others have commented that the hotel is in need of some refurbishing, we had an excellent stay last month. First, the hotel is incredibly well situated and our room was clean and tidy. There were robes and slippers in the room (in contrast to what another guest reported) and the shower was excellent. However, what was truly outstanding was... More

It was simply your bread and butter, low end hotel. We stayed in their best 'business' room on the top floor. The rooms were small and reasonably clean. They have been given a makeover in recent years, however it's still average. The outlook was nothing spectacular. The bathrooms are old and not inviting. The only positives were the free wifi... Stayed three nights at hotel Norge for a business related trip and found it quite good. The hotel feels a bit tired and would need an overhaul but it had a nice feel to it anyway. I got a business room on the 9th floor. A nice bonus was both a Nespresso machine as well as balcony with nice views.... More

Context: Stayed here for three nights in June with family in a standard room. Price per night: approx. 300 Euros. Review: Hotel is in serious need of refurbishment. The room looked like it was recently renovated but in a very tacky way. Think dated 80's furniture with none of the elegance and all of the plasticky sofas, bright pink curtains... More
