We stayed here Saturday night as we had a Sunday morning flight. The rooms are actually ok, air condition works at 1/2 power. The real problem is the mismanagement of this hotel, from the understaffed check-in desk, to the dinner buffet were 1/2 the items were not available anymore, nevertheless we were charged full buffet price ( over $45/per person),... Weekend stay, The whole hotel was under reconstruction. A lot of the facilities was closed. It was raining in through the window area. The room was dirty, the curtains had a lot of stains, was taken down, but not replaced. The breakfast was rather uninteresting...... Not to recommend now, maybe when it is finish. But they really have to do... More

Although the hotel is undergoing a major redevelopment, we found the staff really helpful and friendly. The rooms/suites are spacious and clean. We were on the back of the hotel, overlooking the crane and some very pretty views and were lucky that not long after we arrived on the Friday lunchtime, the workmen knocked off for the weekend and so... ... because it looks like the hotel has still a lot of renovation/rebuilding to do. pros - the rooms are nice and have a good size - the staff is doing their best to cope with the renovation cons - construction going on - only inside looking rooms have aircon (really? it seemed not to be working) - distance to... We stayed at this hotel 18months ago and found it acceptable. On that basis I booked for a night after a late arrival flight. I was surprised to find the hotel was in the midst of a major reconstruction, yet was still open. Nowhere during the booking process, with prepayment, had there been warning about this. I'm sure that once... More

Single night staying here in an almost empty building. The foyer has a weird 'feel' to it and is maybe too big. The site is not terribly convenient for the airport or the city, but there are buses during the day. It is still a building site and looks like it will be quite nice once its completed. The rooms... The dullest hotel in Bergen. Stay away if you can. No fitnesscentre, no bar....i wish i chose another place to stay. No chance to get to the centre of town unless you pay for taxi...terrible place. Being reconstructed, and all is closed

Stayed here for two days in June. At the beginning everything looked nice. The rooms are spacious and clean, same ges for the bathroom. So far, so good. But everything changed in the morning: we were woken up by the sound of jack-hammers and the smell of Diesel fumes at close to 7 AM. Same situation on the second day.... More

Hotel is currently under construction fair enough. But work started wth drilling 0620 I complained at reception and they explained that notices and warnings were up about construction work. Obviously they will not get my business again until work is finished.
