The staff at the desk were awful not help full. Specially the guy with glass. The room were tiny and shower door was broke and shower floor was clean. That room should be closed and re-fitted. The restaurant very few option and tasted awful

I spent 2 nights at the Clarion Hotel Admiral with my girlfriend at the end of a road trip from Oslo to Bergen. Intriguing hotel to review as the Goods are good and the Bads are bad. The Goods: beautiful historic red building and perfect location on the harbor, facing the Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf and 2 minutes away from the... More

Our family of three stayed in this hotel for two nights. The location is great ... right across and within walking distance from Bryggen. The design is very chic and the hotel is very generous with free coffee / tea and drinking water throughout the day. It was raining one afternoon while we were there and we just relaxed in... More

Very well located Hotel, just facing the harbor and Bryggen, with a wonderful view. Our room was quite nice (see enclosed picture) , although our daughter's room was smaller and facing an inside patio. We did not ask for Bryggen view but still our window had a great outlook over the Bryggen housing. We stayed two nights. There is a public... More

When we checked in we were giving a room facing the harbor and just above the outdoor seating of the breakfast area. The room was very small and strangely designed. For example the door to the toilet was situated directly behind one side of the bed. Because of the chatter from the restaurant guests below us we asked for a... More

Rooms tiny (even the best rooms) and poorly designed. Designed for appearance but not for practicality. Very little storage space for clothes no towel rail in bathroom few plug sockets. Service was perfunctory, no help taking bags up to room. When we changed room after asking for a bigger room help consisted of turfing our bags into the corridor so... More

We stayed two nights, the first on the fifth floor in a small room, that should not be sold to anybody. It was a very small attic room with a sloping ceiling so low that in part of the room you could not stand upright. There were no real windows, only a ceiling-shutter, that you could not open for the... More

The hotel may have the best spot in whole Bergen, just on the opposite across the water from the postcard house front. You're in the center within 5 minutes walk. Service is good. Rooms are modern with huge LCD TVs, however you might have good (waterfront view) or bad luck (view to the side) as my wife and I had.... More

We stayed here 2 nights. The hotel is close to everything in Bergen. The family room (for 3 of us) was very tight. No air-conditioning was in the room. Bathroom was big and nice. Breakfast at the balcony overlooking the water and the town was very nice even though there were lot of people. Staff was very nice and efficient.... More

This hotel has a great location close to many great spots in Bergen. It is also an easy 10 minute walk to the train and bus station. They have a nice buffet breakfast with outdoor seating on the water. All day long water and coffee in the lobby. There is free wifi as well. The room we stayed in was... More
