We spent 2 nights at To Sostre during our stay in Bergen and we were very happy with our choice. The B&B is located in a picturesque street, quiet but only 5 minutes away from the port and Bryggen. We chose the top floor appartment with private bathroom. It was very spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and it... More

Lovely décor, really homely feel, comfy beds and a really nice hostess! Think it's in a student area so walking to and from the guesthouse from the main part could get a bit noisy but it didn't effect our sleep or our stay, Very convenient location!! If you're going with a car there is a garage at the bottom of... More

The property is very clean, comfortable and well located. The hardest part was getting our heavy suitcases up the somewhat curved staircase. Great breakfast every morning and Yvonne was available to answer questions and make suggestions. We took the Flybussen from the airport and then you can walk up to the guesthouse.

Our family of 5 (children 9,10,14), stayed comfortably for 2 nights in The Loft. We where made very welcome by the owners and enjoyed an excellent breakfast each morning. The B&B is just a stones throw from the Bryggen making getting around very easy. We would very happily return.

We stayed for 2 nights - in the Canopy Room and the Blue Room. Both are on the same floor and share a bathroom, which was great for friends travelling together. This is a very well run establishment, with simple but comfortable furnishings and a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Renate was very friendly and helpful, and provided us with a... More

We had the proviledge of staying at To Sostre twice, at both the beginning and the end of our week in Norway. We used Yvonne's instructions for the airport bus and found the property quite easily. Yvonne and Renate were wonderful, meeting us at the house and providing us with tips as to where to eat, park, and everything in... More

We stayed three nights in June 2014. Yvonne & Renata are excellent hosts, friendly, helpful with masses of local information & they produce very good breakfasts. Our room was the Loft which was spacious & comfortable with good en suite facilities. The guest House is traditional timber construction in an attractive area a few minutes walk from the Bryggen waterfront.... More

We stayed here in Bergen for a long weekend and it really is a lovely house. We were lucky enough to be the only ones in the house for the first few days so had the run of the place and it was like a home from home. It is in easy walking distance of the main city centre, in... More

We couldn't have booked a more charming or more memorable guesthouse in Bergen. Renata, the owner, went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. The guesthouse is beautifully appointed. We were in the attic room, which was really special. The breakfast was excellent. We were with our 3 year old and our baby who loved the homemade cereal... More

As everyone before me has said is wonderful We took taxi from the airport and are glad we did - wouldn't be easy to find if you didn't know where you are going Very convenient to town centre and several little supermarkets because Yvonne lets you use the kitchen and fridge which is nice when you get sick of buying...
