I spent 2 nights at Klosterhaugen. I need to warn anyone with a lot of luggage that it's quite a steep climb! Better take a taxi, depending where you're coming from. The area is very quiet. There is a front garden. I had room 3. Which has everything you need. The curtain is not very thick, so it let's light... More

Have stayed at the hotel several times and each time the hotel is great. The breakfast is wonderfully well done. Better than most other hotel breakfasts. Rooms are good. Fast wifi. Best of all in the middle of town.

Stayed one night in a single room but stylishly renovated recently. Nice, tucked away location within walking distance of the town centre. Excellent buffet breakfast with homebaking and homemade preserves. Thumbs up.

Given the cost of even basic accomodation in Norway, this accomodation was relatively cheap. However, the accomodation is very basic, with no access to cooking facilities, only a single bathroom (which has both toilet and shower in the same room so you can't go to the loo whilst one of the other 9 or 10 guests is taking a shower).... This place is at the top of hill, tucked behind a park, with a great view over the city. It's just a few blocks back from the commercial district, so you feel like you're in the residential area of the city. Kristian was a nice and friendly host, the room was comfy and clean, and the terrace area was great... More

It's a small cheap guesthouse, not so bad, nothing unforgettable. The room is clean, the owner is very kind, no toilet and shower in the room but not too bad

I stayed for a period of 2 weeks and found the guesthouse wonderfull. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the owner friendly and welcoming. Was great value for money. Overall, very accommodating for a lone australian traveller!

We stayed two nights in the 1-bedroom apt, which was quite spacious and well-equipped for self-catering. I found this provided great value and I couldn't believe how much cheaper it was to make our own dinner one night. (My tip for expensive Norway is to self-cater where you can and save your money for the restaurants you are most interested... More

Nice location in Bergen (I liked the area, there's a tiny park nearby, and not too far to walk to central area). Rooms in an old house. Old but comfortable. Shared bath (only one bathroom though). Only met the daughter, who was friendly. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not bad and clean. Breakfast not served.
