Rørvik is a small place, not too many hotels. But this one can be recommended. short walk to the harbour where the famous Hurtigruten along the Norwegian coast make a stop north- and westbound every evening. Renovated recently, nice and clean rooms. Not the best placement and views from the hotel, but short way to harbour. Free and ample parking.The... More

Stayed there in relation to a business trip. The hotel is nice and cozy with helpful staff, decent and alright facilities, and alright variety of breakfast. However, the price was slightly high compared to what you get, but I think this is very common when it comes to hotels in small towns across Norway.

This hotel is the best option if travelling to Rørvik. Breakfast is excellent. No restaurant at the hotel. The hotel also has free wifi. Rooms are quite small, and there is no facilities like training room etc. There is also no decent restaurants nearby.

We arrived in Rorvik late evening and this was the only hotel in town. Although fully booked, the staff were extremely helpful and provided us with beds for the night. Breakfast the following morning was a basic but satisfactory buffet. The staff helped with booking a taxi to take us to the local airport. We would visit again without hesitation.

This is a very average and decent hotel. It is very clean. Rooms are so small that can't fit a regular chair in front of the desk....atleast in the room I was in. They have a stool to sit on for the desk and can't work that way for very long without back support. Breakfast is pretty standard for European... More

The hotel is located in the town centre of Rørvik, in the municipality of Vikna. Acceptable rooms, TV in the room, no fridge/mini-bar. Satisfactory breakfast buffet, you pay extra for packed lunch. Free parking. I had a room facing Kjøpmannsgata, normally a quiet street, but there was some noise from youths who repeatedly drove their cars up and down this... More

After landing "cold turkey" in Rorvik and speaking only English, I was at a loss what to do next. Thanks to the personal connections of the front desk staff, I was able to visit the island of Naeroy, where my Great Grandfather Isak grew up as an adopted son of the priest, H. Heyerdahl, in the 1880's. This spiritual journey... More
