This older hotel provides good service in a "typical" old European style hotel. The rooms are small; but they are clean and comfortable, The bathroom was roomy enough with good hot water. Enjoyed good internet connections and a very good smorg type breakfast.

The area is industrial with empty houses and shops. The building is very old and not very clean. Half of the rooms have no bathroom and shower, so you have to share them. The Internet doesn't work properly. The price doesn't worth the service.

I stayed here for one night. I was quite pleased all around. Room small but one who travels in Europe a lot learns to accept that as the standard. Very helpful front desk, good breakfast and comfy bed. Excellent water pressure and fast internet connection. Would definitely stay here again if in Skien in the future....

I stay here often, because the other 2 hotels in Skien (Thon and Clarion) are much more expensive. (The Clarion is better, the Thon not really.)
