I had to cancel part of my trip to Norway so I asked (2 weeks ahead) if I could cancel and receive my money back for the three nights I booked. The policy on their website said no cancellations, but I figured I'd email to check anyway. The person who responded was very polite and said it wouldn't be a... More

Expectations were high: charming, central located and familial. Well connected to public transport and a charming area around, but without beeing a home. Rarely stuffed check-in desk, the booking process had failed twice and I´ve never seen the host. The entrance door is always unlocked, despite they give you the feeling of safety by handing over a key code. Broken... More

This is the cheapest I could find in Oslo with ok quality. Only common toilet. We've stayed there 2x. (Oct 2011, March 2012). Checking in late is based on trust. As you know Norway is a country where most people trust anybody. So you pretty much check in by yourself. There was nobody at the reception to give you key... More

Just unbelievable! It was a nightmare of it's own. The rooms have a minimal standard without any charm and comfort. The beds were dirty. Even the 'fresh' linen had some pubic hairs and undifine stains. One of the beds were broken and could not be used. There only one bathroom for each floor. The bathroom was dirty too. There had... I was there in the end of January, 2011. It is a good hotel! The reception works only till midday, but, if You are late, the keys will be left for You. The interior is very pleasant! The rooms are cozy. Yes, there can be not perfect furniture, but it is not a problem. For this price in Oslo it... More

This price was less than any else I could find and I was pleasantly surprised with it. The house was beautiful, the rooms were clean, the staff was nice. We had no problems while we were there. Its not a five star hotel but it's not a hostel either. Its a good in between and perfect for a traveler who... More

We arrived in the evening, there was a paper for us with keys of rooms. One room was already occupied by another guest. When calling the owners they told us to go to another room. The morning they told us: ok it was our guest - without any apology. Rooms are spacious, but dirty - but ok its for 560... More

I was in this B&B in October 2011 for 2 nights. I chose it mainly for the beauty of the building, I liked it. When I arrived at the hotel the reception was empty, but they had left me a welcoming note, saying also that the key was in my room. So, I haven't had any problem. Free wireless without... More

DISGUSTED!! Not only by the uncleanliness of the house and room but also by the owners attitude. I phoned them early in the day and was told they had a single room for me and I should just give them a call when I arrived! I enquired about the strange booking procedure but put it down as Norwegian trusty nature... More

So disappointed to arrive here. It was recommended in the Lonely Planet Guide but have no idea why. The location suited us and its in a nice area 25 min walk into town but through quite an interesting neighbourhood with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. Said it was a quiet location but the main road at the front of... More
