It was average basically. My advice is don't hostel if you aren't prepared to rough it slightly. We went as a group of 4 but they put us in a 5-bed room (spare bed and worked out cheaper) which was nice of them. This hostel wasn't spectacular. You could walk to most of the sites, but it wasn't very centrally located. There was a bus/tram station less than a block away, however. The hostel felt very grimy.
