The location is great. 100m walk from airport bus stop, and walking distance to the waterfront area. Breakfast spread was good too. The freshly squeeze/made fruit juices and smoothies are the real treat. Rooms are spacious but the double bed is made up of 2 single mattresses (not so comfortable for couples).

One stay in this very central location. Comfortable room and very nice staff. We had afternoon tea with amazing custard tarts. The place is busy and very cosmopolitan. Would use this place again. The breakfast was buffet was buffet style and certainly enough for any appetite.

The Hotel Bristol gives you a warm welcome from the reception onwards. It is a very well run hotel with a good atmosphere. There is a good mix of public areas with quiet spots and also convivial areas. The bar is worth a visit

If you have a lunch meeting in Oslo, this is the place. You should not arrive before 11:30 and preferably not stay after 14:00. Thats when it is busy; and it can be fun. Here sits the Norwegian public and eat tall sandwiches. Classic sandwiches. Smorgosbord. Smoked and cured salmon, beef patty, hand-peeled shrimp with high quality, seasonal sandwishes, and... More

I have stayed at this historic and elegant hotel several times. The historic atmosphere of the entire hotel, the friendly staff and the extravagant breakfast buffet is at the top. My room at the last visit was large (see attached photo), clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small but ok. The lobby is decorated in classic style with dark wood... More

I spend two nights at Bristol Hotel. First impression is that the hotel was totally british-like, which I enjoyed a lot.Arriving from airport was quite easy using the Flybussen ( a stop is about 100 m from the hotel entrance). The rooms are decorated as well as a British flavour. toiletry Ammenities are basic ( soap, shampoo, gel wash). No... More

We stayed 4 nights (end of Feb) at the Bristol. It was a lovely hotel and full of warmth and charm. Our room was beautiful, clean and quite comfortable by US standards. The lobby is constantly busy with people having drinks and/or High Tea. The bar is also a fun place to hang out. Breakfast was both elaborate and delicious.... More

We stayed one night in the Hotel Bristol. Although it doesn't look much from the outside it's full of old world charm on the inside. It's got a real luxurious 30s feel to it, beautiful wood, leather and ceilings. The rooms are a bit dated perhsps but clean and very comfortable and in keeping with the rest of the hotel... More

I stayed here for two nights before going on to Tromso. It was such a lovely old hotel with real character and tradition. Staff were very helpful. One thing to be aware of, if you arrive on a Saturday afternoon as we did, you may not be able to get a drink in the bar/lounge area. It was packed, and... More

The hotel gives a great first impression. You arrive in an old style reception with great character. The breakfast room, bar and restaurant are in the same style and offer music that really go with the atmosphere. (i.e. 4*) The hotel rooms, on the other hand, look like they were renovated in 1984. While clean and practical, they are very... More
