In the very expensive city of Oslo, Haraldsheim is your cheapest acceptable bet. When you order a single or double room in the side wing you have a lot of comfort exceeding the standard of a normal youth hostel with own bathroom, TV and a quite modern interior. The city is reachable by tram in 20 minutes.

Everything you look in a hostels you will find there. Clean bathrooms, good beds, tv room, free wi-fi, near the Oslo city centre. Good breakfast. Perfect reception. Fantastic view to Oslo's fiord. I will go back the sooner possible.

Stayed here for 2 nights and found it to be very good. Room was clean, spacious with bathroom very good as well. Wifi worked well when there wasn't heaps of people on it. A bit out of the city but was only a train ride to the city center

This is a well equipped hostel at a good price. The free breakfast is excellent. There are full kitchen and laundry facilities available. We booked a 2 person private (I don't think they offer mixed dorms) and were happy to find we'd been given a spacious 4 person dorm just for the 2 of us. Short walk to Grefsen station... More

This Hostel is in Oslo, Norway. From the airport you can take a bus (Flybussen) going to Sinsinkrisit. That will take you more or less 20 to 30 minutes to arrive. Upon arrival disembark to the right and walk going down. There is a football field on the right side lined up with housing facilities. You have to walk to... More

We stayed there while sightseeing Oslo. Good parking. Long walk to the tram to get into Oslo (longer walk back as uphill). Staff were ok. breakfast was ok. Low cost facility. Had trouble plugging phones and computers in of a night as not many power outlets in room. No cooling so was hot in summer. no screens on windows so... More

So, I booked knowing it wasn't quite central, but in the end it didn't matter as I wasn't out partying every night. The Oslo transport system is superb, and probably the only reasonably priced thing Oslo has going. The rooms were comfortable, and the four person rooms rarely had more than 2 in. Yes, like all the others hostels, it... More

My girlfriend & I stayed 2 nights in Haraldsheim Youth Hostel. - The hostel is located 10-15 minutes outside center, we used T-Bahn stop Sinsen (last stop) - Our rome was with bunk bed and not en-suite bathroom, so not what we expected. - Staff was helpfull - Wifi was very good functioning, even though we did not stay in... My friend and I didn't realise that this hostel was a fair bit away from the city centre when we booked it, until we had to get a metro and then a bus to it. Although it was quite a while away from the city centre, it's in a really nice quiet area with beautiful views of the mountains and... More

Amazing breakfast and room service. The place is really clean and new and has a big and cute common kitchen. The receptionists were sympathetic and helpful. The location is good by metro. Furthermore is perfect for couples or two travellers, because private rooms are not so more expensive than shared ones. It was sure the better choice!
