Very pleased with the hotel but some rooms are better than others, but all the guestrooms will be renovated this summer so I heard and I hope the rooms will become more modern and comfortable. All in all a good hotel off the beaten path with excellent service.

Soria Moria, located on the hills above Oslo, has a nice view and is a well known conference center in Norway. The rooms are of a high standard and the conference facilities are good. Great location if you enjoy being close to nature. Rooms need upgrade and climate control. Food needs improvement. Clean air, nice views of Oslo, but far away.

We were fortunate enough to use the Askeladdenshus facilities for our leadership course, and these have to be the best in Oslo, without doubt. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. This hotel is basically just a conference hotel. In that aspect it is great. The best view in Oslo, quiet and in the mids of our great nature. As a general hotel it should be avoided. The hotel is on top of Hollmenkollen, Oslo centre is 30 mins by car. It's large, and basically a conference hotel. As a tourist, especially in the summer, it has a cold, uncomfortable feel.
