I was there in March, the room is really beautiful and clean. It just look like in the pictures. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to get around Oslo. I definitely going stay in the hotel again if I get back to Oslo.

Bit narrow rooms and bathrooms, and next to one of the busiest streets of Oslo, it's best to get a room towards the back, even if you don't get as nice a view. Comfortable bed and excellent location but the maids tend to knock on your door a little bit early in the morning to check if they can clean... More

Stayed for 2 nights in this smart hotel with a fantastic breakfast. You get to make your own waffles!! Absolutely the highlight. The shower was also incredibly strong (no bath) with lots of mirrors. Single bed and large spacious room, TV also and quiet view onto the garden behind the hotel, and the lovely flats behind. Gorgeous area for walking... More

I stayed here for over 5 weeks and was made to feel at home. It was nice to finish work and chat to the reception staff who were so helpful. The manager helped me sort out a problem which made my stay more enjoyable. She was such a hard worker. The barman who was on in the evening was also very... More

Beautifully presented and charming old hotel in a very nice area of Oslo and easy 5 minute walk to the amazing sculpture park. Also an easy 20 minute or so walk to Oslo city centre, the Opera House and harbour areas, etc. However despite the lovely decor, being an old hotel had its drawbacks. The room was very small and... Very descent, older hotel. Being a bit older has its charm but also its weaknesses. The rooms are reasonable in size, the bathrooms tiny but everything works. TV and wifi works well. Beds and mattresses should be improved. The rooms still open with traditional keys and are without extra inside security locks. There is no safe in the room. Ensure... More

Plain room, although quite large and with extremely comfortable beds ensuring a great nights sleep. The hotel is in a very upmarket area of Oslo with various embassies all around as well as the royal palace within a short walk. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast in the restaurant.

This hotel, in walking distance from ferry arrival of Colorline from Kiel, is old but of good shape. Rooms are nice, reception is friendly, breakfast perfect... and yes, if you're lazy, you can also eat inside this hotel. Good card of meaty meals, prices as high as everywhere in Oslo... :-) And yes, a very frequently operated bus stop directly... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and was very nice. Clean, comfy beds, very spacious rooms. Rooms felt a bit cold, not unwelcoming, just had no personality, but was more than adequate for what we needed. Staff very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was quite good. Hotel location is a big sell, in a nice neighbourhood with excellent bus service.... More

This is a small, and in many ways charming hotel, but not a boutiqe type hotel. Nice staff, great location, good value. Rooms clean and ok, sort of 3-4 star experience. Very good breakfast. Choose this hotel over the "Best Western-style" hotels, that's my advice. You walk from this hotel down towards Karl Johan Street in 10 minutes, but the... More
