Use this hotel during a business trip, very friendly staff. The breakfast in the morning had a great selection. The wireless wasn't the greatest but besides that everything else was great. The washroom is European style, so american's would find it small. The only thing missing was a clock, luckily I had my cell phone to keep track of time.... More

Nice hotel in the heart of Oslo, just opposite the Radisson Blu hotel. My room was fresh and newly refurbished, with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was very small and did not seem to be refurbished lately, but still OK. Breakfast was nothing special, but that does not mean it was bad. Nice price for Oslo, could stay here again! More

I had a very pleasant stay at Thon Hotel Europa. The price was a lot lower than the neighbouring hotels, however the "cheapness" did not reflect in the hotel. Great breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, free internet, access to public transport and location walking distance from the city center - what else do you want? More

The furniture in the rooms are too cheap. Some rooms are actually alright but I have also had rooms very wierd furnished. Comparing the room rate to other hotels in Oslo, you get what you pay for. The staff was helpful, the room was nice and scrupulously clean, the breakfast buffet was very good and services for a business traveller (internet access and access to a printer) were excellent. The neighbourhood is wonderful, it's an easy walk to the train station and to restaurants etc and busy enough (city centre + students) so that women travelling alone... More

Close enough to the train station (National Theatret?) to walk the rest of the way to the hotel. Lively scene around this area makes it an interesting walk. I went on a conference and stayed on the forth floor, which is actually third, since there is no ground floor in Norway. The room was decent, clean and the bed was very comfy! Trust us – Norway is staggeringly expensive and not really worth the expense. And we live in London. If you are on business and extend the visit for about 36 hours it is probably worth it.
