Important to note I had an upgraded room (corner room, maybe room #602) from an internet special. So the size was a bit bigger than most. I stayed here on a business trip to Norway. The hotel was steps away from the train station and only a few minute walk to all of the attractions. My room was a decent size for a European hotel. I had a view of the new opera house and harbor. Breakfast was very filing each morning. more

Extremely clean. Comfortable beds with good pillows and Scandinavian quality duvets. Excellent breakfast included with the room rate. Close to the train station and just across from the beautiful new Opera building, which you can walk on top of! Sign up for the hotel points card and you quickly get free night's stays. If you want a decent, well located hotel in Oslo for a reasonable budget (nothing is cheap here), the Thon Hotel Opera can be a good choice.
