During my first visit to Oslo we stayed at this hotel. The hotel is situated in the nicest, cleanest and one of thesafest parts of the city, just a few minutes to walk to the royal palace. But even there it was some noise at night from the outside, even through closed windows could we hear some cursing immigrants. The... More

A must see city. One word....Amazingly beautiful and absolutely walkable city. Our stay at the best western is in the heart of the city and what a bargain for absolutely a wonderful clean place. The breakfasts in the mornings were absolutely delicious. Furthermore the spread goes from authentic Norwegian to a taste of traditional American and European. They simply covered... More

This hotel was a little tricky to find at first, but not far from the royal palace (Kongehuset). Check in was a breeze, allowed us to check in early with no problem! The bed was like sinking into a cloud... most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! We were on the fifth floor but conveniently there was a small... More

If you travel to Norway, be prepared for steep prices. Fjordtours was supposed to book us at the Best Western Karl Johans, but didn't. So the nice folks there got us a room at this hotel. The hotel has that run down look. It is in a nice part of town and not too far out (walking distance to downtown),... More

Difficult to find, but actually close to tram route from town. In a pleasant, quiet area. Staff most helpful. Small lift to good sized clean room with tea / coffee facilities (unusual for Norway). Excellent breakfast (though we were confused about the hot food, which appeared to be in the kitchen, so we missed it on the first morning).

The man at the front desk were rude and grumpy when we checked in. I was shocked by the terrible service! The bathroom is tiny and after a shower it is water all over the floor. The room was clean and the breakfast was ok. We will not come back.

The hotel is located west of the royal palace and is about a 30-40 minute walk from the train and bus station. We were staying on the 4th floor out of 5 and you have the option of using an elevator which is very tiny. The room is very nice however when taking a shower the entire bathroom floor gets... More

We stayed here two nights. We arrived before noon, but were able to check in right away. The room was a nice size, though it could use some remodeling. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. There is free Wi-Fi in the rooms. The breakfast is free and excellent. They offer take-away lunches for a good price -... More

The hotel provide the basic service you need. The rooms are small but nice and comfortble. I really do not need any more space. The wifi was free, but the line was not the best. The breakfast was nice, it had several options and gives you the basic good meal you need. If you arrive by car, you can find... More

The hotel is located on a quiet street not far from the Royal Palace. Hotel is in a decent location; walking either way from the hotel will bring you plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, ended up staying in hotel for 2 extra days and the guy at the desk initially said it would... More
