It actually felt like I was in London rather than Norway. The hotel is old, adding a nice feel, but is depressing at the same time considering how much it costs to sleep there. The rooms are literally tiny with an extra small bathroom. I don't think this should be a 4 or 5 star hotel but is more like... More

Enjoyed their breakfast very much. Probably one of the best in the world~ However room was not fancy. Many rooms (at least the two rooms we have stayed) have no view whatsoever and look into ugly courtyard (?). Easy access to main attractions in Oslo and good for shopping. But I paid for the room, isn't it?

I have just returned from a weekend staying at this hotel whilst attending the Oslo travel fair. There was a group of us and the hotel did everything they could to help us out. The standard rooms are of a decent size and have all you need, an upgrade was given to a member of our group and it was... More

From the outside inside the lobby and the corridors this hotel is classy and very grand. The rooms leave a bit to be desired. There was a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling that felt like it encompassed the entire room. The room itself was very small for two people and the beds themselves were two separate single beds. The... More

Stayed in Dec 13. Hotel is close to eateries and retail outlets. Room was comfortable but toiliteries can be improved. No cotton buds given. Breakfast was lovely with a wide spread. Not great when there are VIPs in the hotel as the corridors were be filled with bodyguards.

The hotel is located close to shopping, restaurants, public transportation, and the tourist center. The distance from the front door to the train station is about a block. The restaurant is very nice. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful.

Extremely nice hotel in Oslo. It is amongst others where the Nobel Price winners stay. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hotel feels very much like at type of "Agathat Christie" type of place. It is highly recomendable when you come to Oslo. Next to the Parliament and within walking distance to all ammenities.

The hotel location is 10/10 and the check in was very fast. The rooms are a bit old and the hotel needs to be reinvented. Staff are helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was fresh and superb. There was a a bad smell in the entrance, but it didn't last for the hole day i guess it is the heating mixed... More

Really enjoyed this hotel. Not the most opulent in he world, but very comfortable with a great lovation to explore central Oslo. In the rooms, I really appreciated the comfortable beds and heated floors. Very comfortable - I slept forever. I also really enjoyed the sauna and pool on the 7th floor. Really nice facilty and great views of the... More

Recently stayed at the Grand for a night whilst in Oslo on business, and found it to be a lovely throwback to a time of more opulent travel in a sense. The entrance lobby is fairly ornate and grand as you enter, with plush carpeting and decor. Check in was quick and easy, with friendly staff. The room was well... More
