Beautiful old building, trendy and attractive interior decor, highly efficient and friendly staff. I had a great stay here, in a well appointed, pretty room with high ceilings and large windows. Although it's very close to a major shopping area, the street was quiet and tranquil. Great Scandinavian breakfast with vast number of choices, excellent sushi restaurant, cozy, charming library... An excellent choice: it has a cozy feeling, yet everything works as if it was a business hotel. Location is superb: central but quiet. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. It is a place to come home to after a days work or shopping.

Although arriving very early in Oslo it was possible to check in the room. I was even offered to join the breakfast buffet which was still open. The buffet was very nice and rich, Overall very fairly priced considering location and standard.

Hotel Saga is located in a quiet area, 10 minutes walk from the Royal Palace. A nice combination of central location, yet quiet surroundings. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a nice Swedish speaking boy at the front desk. Check in took some time, but no more than one can accept. When he asked if I... More

My husband and I spent a few days visiting Oslo in early March 2015 and were lucky enough to have booked a few nights at the Saga Hotel. The hotel was in a great location, not far from the Royal Palace and many of the city's sights. The room was well appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast in... More

The hotel is in a elegant residential area ,but the center is easy to reach by foot or tram. The parking places are limited, butwe were lucky. The entrance is modern elegant ,with a nicereading /coffee corner . The room is big enough , but the wardrobe extreamly small, and part of it is occupied by the ironing table (I suggest... More

Lovely 'boutique' style hotel. Very quiet (March), but thats what we wanted. Rooms slightly bigger than usual and very VERY comfortable beds. Also amazing breakfasts: biggest range we've seen for a Scandinavian style. Supposedly outside of the centre of town, but easy walk into town and museums. Would most definitely stay again.

Fantastic hotel, great location, friendly staff, brilliant breakfast. Really happy I chose this hotel for our city break in Oslo! Some really nice restaurants in close proximity and only a short walk to the royal palace and Vigeland park.

Stayed here for 2 nights. When we arrived they had given us a twin bedroom but were more than happy to change us to a double. Staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable - in fact, probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in!! Great location. Easy to find and... More
