I stayed in the hotel while back packing through Norway and Sweden. I would recommend the hotel to any traveler. Firstly the location is absolutely perfect. It is close to the station, just one street from Oslo's pedestrian street. The service is good, the breakfast pack works like magic and doubled up for lunch. The room was neat and clean... More

After reading some of the reviews on here, I was a bit skeptical. However, we had a really good stay. We stayed in a 'double or twin' room, which ended up being two twin beds pushed together. There was a desk, desk chair, two nightstands, two closets with hangers, and the bathroom was a decent size. Plus, the bathroom had... More

This hotel is right in the middle of the city and offers really good value for money. Breakfast being included in the price is also really good. The breakfast comes in a bag to your room every morning and includes a ham and cheese sandwich, a piece of fruit and some juice. I found this really filling and kept me... More

We stayed in the hotel in the last week of October. The hotel was easy enough to locate from the main Oslo train station by walking by the main shopping district. Check in was quick and our room on the top floor of the building was large but it was in need of a make-over. When we pulled open our... More

We booked this hotel based on Lonely Planet review but it turned out to only vaguely resemble the room shown on the website and no doubt what Lonely Planet saw. We were welcomed to the hotel by a beggar sitting on the pavement outside and it only got worse. The room was quite shabby and run down, for example the... More

We stayed at this hotel in early September, 2014, as part of the pre-paid Oslo Package we purchased. Oslo is one of the most expensive places to stay anywhere. This hotel provides bare-bones hotel rooms in an old building that borders on shabby in a very central convenient location. I had read other reviews of this hotel so I was... More

This hotel is located in the middle of Oslo with walking distance of most of the places in central Oslo. That is what you are paying for. The rooms are very dated and worn down. It is clean and somewhat comfortable, but the rooms are tiny and from the 6:th floor the noise of the aircondition makes it sound as... More

Very shabby room, big hole in bathroom door, -never mended. Same thing in the hall outside, like sommeone drunk had kicked it in. Shower broken, water came out everywhere. Hard matrasses. Not a room to look forward to get back to for a rest or in the evening. Best thing about the hotel is the central location, and the price... More

Although this hotel has a very convenient location within walking distance of the harbor, shopping and other attractions, it isn't good for much beyond being an adequate place to sleep. The street side rooms we had were very noisy due to tram and bus traffic. Since there is no air conditioning, it was necessary to leave the window open on... More

On reading reviews we were not sure what to expect of this hotel, but on arriving we were suitably impressed with what we found. The Hotel has a tasteful décor with wooden floorboards and retro furniture which looks amazing. The staff were very helpful and a slight problem that we had was dealt with immediately. The breakfast in a bag... More
