We stayed here on our last night before a very early flight. Great place to rest your head, clean & comfortable. More of a hostel than hotel so great for meeting people & finding out more about the local area from others. Reception only manned for a very limited time!

Liked this hotel. Good communal area. Free Internet on two computers. Running breakfast for 40 kroner. Gripes are, up a fairly steep hill not good if dragging heavy bags in deep snow. Rooms are tiny. We stayed in a double room in December and really enjoyed our stay - while Nord is budget accommodation, it is very comfy and very good value for Tromso. The rooms have great heating (very handy for winter) and come with a bar fridge and (for rooms with no ensuite) their own sink. Nord also has a good lounge area... More

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, common room and other facilities were great too. And the location is great - easy walk into the centre and to the Radisson where tours leave from. I will definitely stay there again. We stayed in a 3 bed room which was good value.

nice clean rooms, clean wc and showers and good living room and dining room... the stuff is helpful and the location is great, about 5-10 min walking from the center... the prices are ok for accommodation in norway. generally good vbes from this place!!!
