I have just returned from 3 days on a Northern Lights chase in Tromso. The Radisson SAS Hotel was perfect for our stay. Pleasant staff to meet you on arrival . The room I was first given was unfortunately not ready..beds not made etc..however, i was quickly given another room with sincere apologies from the lady on reception. This happens... more

Stayed here for three nights in January. Airport bus drops off/picks up right outside the hotel as do many excursions. Hotel was clean and superior room was well furnished with strangley two single duvets on a double bed! Excellent view over the harbour to the bridge, cathedral. Breakfast was good but some of the hot food could have been hotter. more

My mum and I have just returned from a 3 night stay here. We arrived at the same time as a number of other guests (all arrived on the airport bus, which stops outside the hotel), but check in was fast and simple. We had chosen this hotel as it seemed to be the only one with a bath rather... more

We found the Radisson to be an almost faultless hotel. Only slight problem was the lack of car at the airport that we had ordered to pick us up. This was the only problem we had all the time we were there. We were upgraded to a business class room - with excellent views over the harbour (magnificent on NYE)... more

A good business hotel: the room was quite big with a great view, and you have all what you can expect from a good business hotel. Of course, the style is a bit "cold", but this isn't a boutique hotel. I stayed here for one night, and I would probably come back should I stay another time in Tromso. more

Arriving evening, no problems checking in untill I entered the room allocated to me. Two single beds. I had requested one bed much larger. The air con did not seem to work. Room very stuffy. Down to checkin desk and a new room was grumpily allocated. This time the bed was correct but on opening the window was greeted with... more

This is a fairly standard Radisson hotel, dependable and a bit quirky at times but nothing too spectacular. We arrived very late at night but the welcome from the front desk was friendly. We were asked if we wanted one bed or two, we asked for two and promptly got a room with one!!! The room was freezing, mainly because... more

This hotel was chosen by my colleague mainly because of the location. It is right in the Centre of Tromso. The price paid was 1500 NOK which I think is fair. The room was spacious and had fantastic views (it's difficult not to get fantastic views in Tromso). The room was well appointed with flat screen TV (not great choice... more

I stayed two nights at the Radisson Tromso for the Polar Night 10k run and paid about 810 NOK per night for a single room. I had gotten the rate by email directly from the hotel as single rooms were very expensive compared to other hotels in Tromso; and they kindly matched the price of the others. I stayed in... more
