As we were arriving at 12.00am after a 43 hour flight we were worried that we would not be able to find our way to the Radisson where we had booked. We emailed them prior to leaving Australia, and received prompt replies regarding the shuttle bus, how much it would cost and where to find it and that they would... More

Spent a couple of nights here due to a conference at the hotel. It is located near the city centre, with walking distance to the main street of Tromsø. The pier is right outside with absolutly stunning view of the fjord and the mountains. I had a singleroom, it was small but very comfortable. The lobby and the rooms are... More

3 Star hotel. Some modernisation done, Rooms were small but ok size. Nice view to harbour. Sofa chair was ripped, the bathroom had a tile missing under the shower. Signs of wear and tear. No iron in the room. Solid 3 star. Friendly reception people, average breakfast. Just ok... Used to expect more from Radisson.

Stayed here twice in December 2013 while travelling the north of Norway. The hotel is in a good location just by the port for the Hurtigruten and is very easy walking distance to all of the sights of the town centre. The first room we had was very comfortable, though the second was in another part of the hotel and... More

This review is based on a two nights stay from last Friday to Sunday. Although part of the same chain, and the Tromsø branch offering a much smaller room than the one I got at Nydalen, Oslo in May, the price nevertheless was 75 % higher here than in Oslo. This may be due to a higher average influx of... More

Tromso is a great compact base for a Nordic break, the radisson is only a few mins from the airport via an underground road system. Staff very helpful on check in and advice on trips, rooms are fine, not vast, but perfectly adequate. Breakfast was a good buffet type, quite busy and sometimes you have to sit in the overspill... Does this hotel have the most helpful staff? Possibly the answer is "Yes". From front desk to chambermaid and restaurant staff, everyone was truly engaged and eager to assist with making the stay in Tromso memorable. We didn't have to ask for a city map or recommendations. It was simply given in the most friendly and hospitable way. The hotel... More

The Radisson is right in the centre and quite a number of the Northern Lights tours pick up and drop off from outside the hotel which is REALLY convenient, especially at drop-off. The rooms themselves were fairly standard Scandi design - rather on the small side, but we didn't pay for any type of upgrade. We spent a lot of... More

Radisson Blu in Tromso is an excellent choice! My reservation was made by American Express, and all was in order at check in. Presented my Club Carlson Gold Card as requested by the receptionist who upgraded my room to a beautiful Harbour facing suite (Room 1055). Requested a 3pm check out and informed that would be fine. Really spectacular view... More

This was booked for us by Hurtigrouten and it is very conveniently located adjacent to the embarkation point for the ships. Let us say that the rooms are smaller than a typical college dorm or enlisted barracks on military bases. There is not enough room for our luggage or for anything we unpacked. This hotel has many harbor side view... More
