The best thing is the hiking oppurtunites and the surounding nature. The camping itself isnt to special. We stayed in a cabin which was ok. A bit of a long walk to the buss stop. The buss takes about 10-20min into the centre of town.

As far as city/town campsites go, this was good. Location great (just over the bridge from the city), with lovely walks right on the doorstop. Free showers too which are always appreciated. Just some niggles. The loos and bathrooms were not very clean (except right after being cleaned), nor were there enough of them. There was almost always one blocked... More

We stayed for two nights in a chalet. The beds are good, the evening sun miracles warm and the small river behind the camping made this place a real holiday-stay. The douches and toilets were clean, but a little small. However it was not a problem. The reception was good, and this place is a good place to start your... More

A group of us stayed here from 21st-25th Feb so we rented one of the larger 4/5 bed cabins. These seem to be the more luxurious cabins as we had everything we needed - comfy beds, a kitchen with everything provided (apart from an oven), a clean bathroom as well as a large sofa with a TV and Wi-Fi. Everything... More

Thank you for your comment and for taking the time! I'm glad to hear that you were happy with your cabin and your stay. And also that you found the walking path from the camp site. In addition, this is a nice place to see the northern lights. When it comes to activities I can also recommend the cable car... More

The camp is located around 10 minutes of walk from bus stop. From there it takes only few minutes to the city center. It's a nice place to stay, there is a forest and small river in the camp and a lot of crosscountry-skying tracks that are also perfect for walks deeper into valley away from lights of city. But... Dear Karol, thank you very much for your review. We appreciate it! I'm glad to hear that you had a good time while visiting us. There is a shop about 15 minutes walking from the camp site, however, I understand that it's difficult walking in the periods when the road is slippery. We will have this in mind for the... More

The cabins are lovely and warm, just a little off the town. There is also a sofabed in the cabin. It was a good location to enjoy the peace of the north. We were in a large group and rented multiple cabins next to each other - so it was all the more fun! The only possible negative about this... More

Hi and thank you very much for your feedback. I'm glad to hear that you had a good time staying with us. Actually, we have a restaurant and a food shop about 10 minutes walking from the Camp site. I'm sorry that you didn't get this information. Also, next year we are upgrading by building a new reception- and service... More

The cabins are great, very clean and well provided for. The heating meant the cabin stayed comfortably warm inside despite below-freezing outside temperatures. Good hot shower, though unfortunately it drained at a dribble meaning we had to wait a while after the previous person showered. We ended up sharing a four to five person cabin between three which worked out... More

We stayed for 4 nights in February 2013. The 2/3 man cabins were lovely & warm, but pretty small for 3 people - one of us had to sleep on a sofa bed. The only issue we had was that the site was pretty full of travellers with their reindeers (possibly for some sort of meeting) and they all had... More

We will be back next year, just come back from a week at tromso camping, we were worried if it would be cold in the cabins but far from it, a nice touch was they had turned the heating on for us so when we arrived it was lovely and warm, all the basic amenities there, staff were friendly and... My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. At first we had issues with running water, however were informed that cabins 55 & 56 have been having issues. The staff quite happily moved us to another cabin with the same facilities but a little older. We were given complimentary Wi-Fi and were told that it covers the whole camp... More
