The room was ok, but was in line for renovation as it was a bit old fashioned and worn. It was also a bit noisy at night and could have had better soundproofing. The staff was pleasant and service-minded. Excellent breakfast with local specialities.

This is an old hotel, quite charming outside but the rooms are only for sleep, and not even a good night's sleep as the beds are old and the linen has seen better days. The air condition was problematic, very loud. The service at the reception is not welcoming. There is one good service: The breakfast is good quality and... More

Hi Teres, I appreciate your feedback! Nice to hear that you enjoyed your breakfast. We have grand opening in may 2015 and also be re-branded to Scandic. For the moment we are only a partner hotel in Scandic, it means we are available for booking at Scandic Hotels webpage. I am sorry we don`t have aircondition on our hotel, it... More

Me, my husband and daughter stayed at this hotel on a familyroom. The room was large, clean and neat. The child slept on a sofa bed, it was hard. So not the best quality. The beds were very good. Large bathroom. Breakfast was good, good selection. Free parking right outside the main door.

When we arrived there was no room for us. I don't know if the mistake was with the agent or the hotel, but we were offered other rooms without bath and toilet for the first night. My colleagues got spacious, somehow nice rooms, but I got the smallest room I ever had. Every time another guest passed the door the... More

Professional and dry check in. It was the worst room I stayed in a long time and I travel a lot. No air conditioning, only two coat hangers, small bathroom with strange steps as you turn in, old uncomfortable beds and during the night, no air to breathe! Opens one window then you are at the construction site. Right now... More

The hotel was located very close to the city center. It has old-time charm and could use some renovation, but we liked our room in the old part of the hotel. High ceilings, big windows and comfortable bed. Bathroom was a bit shabby, but clean. The only complaint is that it took some time to adjust the water temperature in... More

We stayed for only a night. There's construction going on at the hotel, so it could get a little dusty when you open your windows to let air in since there is no air-conditioning. But the room was better than expected. There was an ice cream and coffee machine in the lobby for guests. Breakfast spread was pretty good.

Went there in 1962 when I was 22, my first day in Norway, a summer student going to work at Rana Gruber which was an iron ore mine that was being developed then. The hotel was an old, quaint wooden building, the dining room was quite sophisticated but the menu was only in Norwegian. After some time with a dictionary... More

we only stayed for one night half of May. after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor we did not expect too much. But it was a pleasant surprise. We had a room at the newer building and it looked renovated. Modern room with purple and black. Good beds Too bad they did not renovate the bathroom so it was a bit... More
