This is a typical 3 star hotel in Norway. It is a bit dated and the rooms are small. But it is clean and the staff is service minded and takes good care of you. The Hotel is centrally located on the hill near the harbor.

This is a hotel a bit away from the downtown and ferry. We used it for transition from taveling from the states to norther Norway. The people at the desk were friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. The internet worked. They invited us to have waffles that first afternoon in the sitting area which was nice. We had a... A nice hotel, friendly staff and a good breakfast. The hotel is a bit worn down but they keep it nice and clean. The room was quite small but the beds were nice and comfortable. The location is good since it's only a few minutes from the centre but it's very quiet and peaceful.

We spent the night at the hotel during a road trip through northern Norway and we were very happy with our choice. It was cheap and the beds were comfortable enough. The rooms were average, but clean. The staff was friendly and arranged early breakfast for us to take with us as we had to leave the hotel at 5.00... More

We stayed one night at the Skagen Hotel, Nice accommodations and conveniently located to shopping, the airport as well as the costal boats, (hurtigbåten) and rail station. Although a bit dated our room was clean, quiet and the beds comfortable although it could be a bit warm without the windows open wide. Very good breakfast included as well as free,... More

A lovely treat in the heart of the city. Very nice to get away from the chain hotels to one where they actually give a dam. The den, the breakfast the waffles(!), this place is a gem. They even had basement storage for our bikes.

My 4th or 5th visit. I was not registered with the group I came with, but I got lucky and received a very nice room in the building on the opposite side of the road. I even had a fireplace (but no firewood...). Firendly staff, and quite good food. The waffles in the lounge have become much worse than they... More

Skagen Hotel is in a good location in Bodo, close to both the bus and railway station. The common room they have is amazing, lovely decorated and cosy, and they offer free coffee, tea and fruit all day long. In addition, there are waffles every day between 4pm and 8pm; breakfast was excellent, too. Our room was big enough and... More

I stayed at the Skagen Hotel for two nights. This independent hotel was warm and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. My large second floor room had a comfortable bed and a bathroom with a power shower. There were tea and coffee-making facilities in the room and the lounge, with free waffles in the afternoon. The buffet breakfast was very... More
