We spent a night here in early march this year and found Frode and Ingeborg most accommodating hosts, their knowledge of the area is superb and they were most helpful in pointing you in the right direction for what you particularly wanted to see. Really comfortable rooms, very clean and they do an excellent hearty breakfast, also free wifi and... More

We arrived late at night to be welcomed by Frode and Ingeborg, the couple who own the hotel. From the start they were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Each day they told us where particular birds had been seen and suggested places to visit. Frode is very knowledgeable and a keen birder which makes life very enjoyable. "The Birdwatchers Base-camp" definitely... More

We spent two nights here this week. Faultless. Lovely hosts, great location, breakfast was delightful, beds delivered a great nights sleep. Nice communal area with TV. Free wifi and a nice library with info on the local area. Balcony looks north so Northern Lights are possible from the premises. sadly not for us on this occasion.

On a very snowy weekend in February we were the only guests and we were treated very well. This hotel deserves to succeed. The owners have refurbished and redecorated and need visitors. Both Frode and Ingeborg speak perfect English and can talk about the area, and local birding, with enthusiasm and knowledge. Breakfast is beautiful. And we saw a display... More

Best place to stay, hand's down. I stayed here from 9 - 13 June, 2013. The owners, Frode and Ingeborg (husband and wife), are simply some of the finest folks in the hospitality business. I was greeted with friendliness and helpfulness that one seldom sees these days. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, too! But,... More

We stayed one night, and were very satisfied with the hotel. Service was excellent, and the rooms new and cosy. The landscape around the hotel was ideal for taking little walks on the beach and the cliffs, and the scenery was amazing. We loved it, and will be staying there again for sure!

Stay stay stay - and that's an order! This hotel is superb in every way. OK maybe a tad basic but clean, comfortable, light, bright, airy and with the friendliest hosts you could ever wish to meet. We stayed here for two nights. We were birding and if you are there for this purpose this is THE only place to... More

We have stayed in this nice hotel a few times. They reopened in summer 2012 with new owners. The rooms were refurbished in 2012, and they are very comfortable. The bathrooms are not refurbished yet, but that is their next project. Prices are reasonable, and it's very quiet there. The owners are very nice and service-minded. The hotel/the owners are... More

The room was small, but nice, clean, cosy and somewhat stylish. Bathroom was a bit simple, but enough for someone who is not expecting a 5-star quality from a Bed and Breakfast. The receptionist was so nice to prepare a room for me long before 15.00, and then made me sandwiches as I as leaving very early morning. This is... More
