The hotell it self started to show some wear, but not to bad. Good serivce and polite staff. Stayed in a regular single room. Rom was small but had everything i needed. Bathroom was small and almost inside shower, so after shower it was wet everywhere. The bed was big, but a little hard for my liking. Free WIFI and... More

On aveage this was below my expectation for a Rica Hotel. Several shortcomings in the room such as broken shower cabinet and a steaming hot bathroom floor that I couldn't adjust. The restaurant was perhaps even more dissapointing. For such prices one would expect far better quality. Understaffed, unexperienced staff, old bread, greasy potatoes, a well cooked (indeed) "medium cooked... More

I've visited a lot of hotels, but rarely met so helpful and friendly staff. The woman in the reception really made us feel welcome! The room were clean, silent and with good space, the breakfast amazing and the location great. Missed tv by the bed (we were in a suite) and shower curtain. I can highly recommend this hotel when... The hotel rooms are small, very small indeed. The service is non-excisting. The rooms looked like they weren't cleaned for the last 2 months. The breakfast is crap. Then why would you even consider this hotel - well, it's the only hotel in town.

My husband and I had booked a double room for ourselves and our two dogs. To our big surprise we were offered to stay in an absolutely gorgeous suite! We loved this hotel, and breakfast is really worth getting up early for!! Very friendly staff as well - and we are really grateful they let dogs stay at their hotel... More

I walked in and immediately walked out and asked for another room.. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. Bed linens and towels smelled as well. No opportunity to change rooms as the hotel was overbooked. Maybe if you are a chain smoker this is a great place to stay. Maybe it has some good points. I don't know, I can't... More

Right in the middle of Vadso. It is worth travelling to this remote corner of Norway for the peacefulness and natural beauty. You really can't expect a 5 star hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate. I had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was very good. Breakfast was fine, typical for Norway. All in all, perfectly ok... More

Excellent restaurant and very nice service across the board! Very friendly staff, even offering us two bikes to ride around Vadso. Overall a pleasant experience and quite a difference to the experience at the Rica in Hmmerfest.

Corporate style hotel in Vadso centre. Service unprofessional - example Reception staff seemed more interested in having a laugh and a joke with blonde lady - not sure if she worked there but was always hanging around. Wifi connection terrible - hardly available. Room stiflingly hot even with window open and unnattractive view of houses on back street. Breakfast excellent... More

We stayed here 2 nights in pretty inhospitable weather. Our room was well appointed, there was a reasonable selection of pay per view films and the beds were comfortable. Staff in this hotel were excellent. I have to say that the food was just OK and for a Brit in Norway overpriced. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Would I stay... More
