I have been there many times on conferances and restaurant visit + "julebord". I have also sleept there one time. All in all I think it's ok. The rooms are not "new" but clean. It's closed to the train station and Flytoget to OSL or NSB to Torp/Ryanair.

I have stayed here many times but over the last 6 months the hotel has declined rapidly. Rooms were never large but now lack of maintenance in the rooms and hotel has ended up with a second rate hotel. If you want to stay in Drammen stay at the Tollboden

First off, if arriving or departing Drammen by train this hotel is perfectly situated right across the street from the train station. Reception and public areas look quite new and very nice. As others have commented the hallways are a nightmare to navigate, and expect to be searching for your room for a while the first time you get there.... More
