I checked in after an overnight flight from toronto. Totally exhausted. Immediately got upgraded without asking. Room was a perfect blend of contemporary - modern bathroom and closet area - and traditional - very comfortable beds complete with down filled everything. Free wi-fi throughout the hotel. Very nice service and impeccably clean. Once I finally got up, was so happy... More

A great location for exploring downtown Vienna. Really nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds. Had a regular room, it was fine. Wish I had more wursts and schnitzels...and beer of course. More

Stayed here here for 3 nights and it was intended as a luxurious treat to finish off 10 days of travel. Definitely a very comfortable hotel. Compared to the historically rich hotels nearby such as Bristol, Grand and Imperial, the Ring was more casual and less formal. But one shld definitely visit nearby hotels to see the difference. I would... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting Vienna on business. Lovely hotel. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is in the ideal location very close to the Opera and central Vienna. The staff could not do more for us. A perfect alternative to the usual identikit chain hotels. I may have stayed here... Vienna has long been celebrated for its grand hotels such as the Imperial and the Sacher. These are great hotels and make great cakes (or torte). But the Ring is an example of how the Austrians are also now making a name for themselves for casual, more fun but nonetheless very comfortable hotels. The rooms here are very comfortable (but... We booked an X-Ordinary room and it has a wonderful size, a great view and no noise at all, considering it's located on a big avenue where the tram runs and there is a lot of traffic. The beds and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The desk has all plugging options so there was no need for adaptors. The location is... More

I stayed at this stylish place for my 30th birthday and the friendly staff showered me with sweet surprises: a birthday desert after lunch, upgrade to the most amazing suite ever, a bottle of high-quality sparkling wine and a birthday card in our room! It was overwhelming and made my birthday really special! An unforgettable surprise! More

Just returned from 3 nights at The Ring. I would agree with other reviewers that the location is great, but I felt that instead of "Casual Luxury" it was more "little effort, lots of money". Although one expects to pay more for hotel drinks, meals and services I felt that this place was definitely over the top. Examples would be:... More
