Fantastic room with high finish fixtures and furniture. Like the chic on pillow with weather forecast hand written on. Apple tv station is awesome. Service was fantastic and really centrally located for everything. Would definitely go back.

OK, I'm biased - I have friends in the 4th district and the hotel is very convenient to them. That said, however, I just love this place anyway: the modern, minimalist decor, friendly service, cleanliness, and excellent location: central to the city center, Karlsplatz and Naschmarkt, but not smack in the middle of tourist central. The breakfast buffet is outstanding...

Booked a package with BA Holidays. Got 4th night free.
Had stayed there several times 10 to 5 years ago on business, this time privately.
Plus points.
1) If you learn to use the trams, couldn't be more convenient, stop just outside, but buy a Vienna Pass.
2) 15/20 minute enjoyable stroll to the centre by foot. (Walking though Karlplatz...

The hotel as a building and location is far below our expectations. It is categorized as a five star design hotel but I have to say that that is just an average two or three star hotel.
Negative:
-The hotel design is extremely minimalistic that you do not feel staying in a five star hotel.
-The rooms are very small....

Although the hotel is beginning to show its age a bit (probably 25 years since its development), it remains a wonderfully comfortable and interesting choice of hotels in Vienna. The location is within sight of Karlsplatz and well-connected with trams. MIchel was at the reception when we arrived and later during our stay. He and other staff were incredibly well...

Very pleasant hôtel near Karlplatz. Beautifull bedrooms, efficient free wifi access, nice and English speaking personnel, and, Keita. Keita, is THE barman of Das Triest. Do not stay at Das Triest without passing by Keitas's bar. Keita makes wonderfoul delighting cocktails in a true Charlie Brown movie ambiance.
Booked a "package" with BA.com - excellent value hotel. The room we had was supurb - yes there are trams passing and very frequent intervals but it is a city! The location is ideal for the city. Service and attention at breakfast was first rate, the food was high quality and excellent choice. We ate in on one night and...

First thing. This is not a five star hotel, compared to other five-stars in Vienna it is a four-star. Second (grumbles first - suggests the lasting impression) if you like trams, then from five in the morning, every five minutes, you will love this hotel. Third, the rooms are not close to sound proof, my noisy neighbour kept me awake...

From the check-in onwards this hotel did not cease to please with great service and attention to detail. Located centrally, though the facade does not boast of the facilities inside, the hotel has services kitted out to family and business travelers as well. The breakfast was better than average for a hotel in Europe, especically for the location and price...

My three night stay at Das Triest may have included a coincidental series of foul-ups or it's allways like that. The design and decor are modern mixed with existing retro style. AS there was no trolley of porter when I arrived I needed 2 trips to my room. I travel with 3 bags. The first night no sleep due to...
