We were here for 2 days, the location was great, the breakfast had a great selection and was extremely tasty, the rooms were fantastic as well, very nicely spaced out. The hotel staff were also great! Thank you to Marion on reception who was extremely helpful as well as Florian and Andreas who provided a really friendly farewell!

Nice and pleasant hotel. Not too close to the centre. Staff are good. Serve sugar puffs for breakfast. Booked with secret escapes and was eligible for a free welcome drink. Rooms are spacious. Palace ia at the back of the hotel and reminds me of deutschland 83

The hotel was quite plain and simple and felt very business like. I would recommend it to travellers who are working with a budget if it is the right price. It was a little far away from the tourist sights to walk but it was only a 5 minute walk to the tram stop to get on the D tram... More

I had booked a Christmas trip for my wife and 11 year old daughter to Vienna and chose this hotel. I booked their Junior Suite in the November, which was 4 weeks before we were due to arrive. I booked direct with the hotel and received a booking confirmation. When we arrived on the 26th December at approximately 8pm we... More

My husband and I love this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean and feel very comfortable. The hotel is far enough outside the center that it is quiet and a safe area but not too far to walk to the main center in about 15 min. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the staff working the breakfast... More

The hotel is away from the main tourist area of Vienna, but close enough that it takes only 15-20 minutes to walk to the center of town. The distance affords guests some quiet and respite of the hustle and bustle of the city, and is next to a set of famous stairs. The hotel has its own first floor bar... More

The room were well appointed and clean and restful. The free w-fi worked well, and the staff pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well located and is serviced quite well by public transport, but if you choose to walk into the city centre you will be rewarded with views of some of Vienna's wonderful buildings and style. Within a ten... More

My husband and I went on pilgrimage with Catholic Travel and this is one of the hotels we were in. It's in close proximity to St. Stephen's, the Spanish Riding School. Our room was perfectly fine. It was clean, spacious, the beds slept good and the lighting was adequate.

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area. From the central station we could go with U1 and then tram D within 35 minutes. We could walk to the Rathaus by foot directly and on the way it was joyful. People can go with a bus, tram, and underground easily so the location is a plus. Our room... More

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighborhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighborhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
