We stayed at Pension Primavera for three nights. It was easy to find close to the Neubaugasse Ubahn station. It was a climb up to the third floor with luggage but. We managed. Without luggage each day it was fine. The place is very secure and quiet. We met A young woman at check in and saw Vera one other... More

Fantastic little B&B in a very central location. My room was spacious, quiet, clean, bed was comfortable and WiFi worked without a problem. As the name indicates, Vera is a prima hostess and a single traveler I felt very well taken care of. The B&B is at the third floor and there is no elevator but I was informed about... More

We stayed here for three nights and fell in love with the location. The U-bahn is just a few steps away but we chose to walk to most of the sites like Stephensplatz, Rathausplatz, opera house, etc. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff who checked us in was very helpful but due to her limited English, she... More

I reserved 3 nights at Pension Primavera, but after the first night I extended my stay to a week. PP is the 4th hotel I've stayed in on this trip through Germany and Austria and is far better and far less expensive than the other three. Let me tell you how wonderful it is. My bus arrived an hour late... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Pension Primavera during my brief trip to Vienna this past Christmas season. We have only wonderful things to say about Pension Primavera. Although we were an hour late due to train difficulties, they were very accommodating. They also gave us perfect suggestions on where to see the best Christmas markets (Christkindlmarkt)! The room itself... More

Although a little hard to find at first the Pension is in a superb location, so close to shops/supermarkets. Our 2 br apartment was very spacious. The host family were very friendly and extra helpful with planning activities and giving advice. We appreciated the coffee machine! As a family, a microwave would have been beneficial but we mostly ate out... More

We spent two nights in the pension. The appartment we took was very spacious, and included two bedrooms, kitchen, an big living room with tv. The location is very convenient, 20 mins walking distance from Albertiba plz. Only drawback is that the pension is on the 3rd floor of the building, w/o elevator.

Please note that my 5 stars are for Pension Primavera, but this review deals with the confusion around this mislabelled tripadvisor page. As someone whose first stop when looking for a hotel is tripadvisor, I found the page to be extremely confusing, since (as far as I understand) the "K and T Boardinghouse" at this location no longer exists, having... This was our 3rd trip to Vienna and our 3 stay at K and T Boardinghouse, our first in the new location. As with the original venue, this property is spotless, quite, roomy and a great value for your travel, accommodation dollar. During our 4 day stay we did not hear other residents, the rooms are well separated from each... More

This one is recommended through different websites, including TripAdvisor and truly deserves such high rates and recognition as given. The prices are really good compared to other reasonable places to stay in Vienna. The location is very convenient, because it is on the street full of shops and caffes and close to metro. I was surprised to find out how... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
