Hotel is located 10 mins walk from Stephansdom. Fine design, both rooms and common areas are attractive and cosy. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good value. more

Just returned from business trip to Vienna, and Novotel was everything I expected from it. This hotel is a 15 minutes walk from Vienna Cathedral, high street shops and central park. Must add that I don't mind a brisk walk. Subway station is literally around the corner, though I found it a tad ridiculous: from the hotel you have to... more

This is a good hotel as stated by many other reviewers but it is on the outskirts of the old town so a bit of a walk to the centre of the old town.It is however close to the Nestroplatz U Bahn station and the tram( just across the bridge) which is an advantage when transferring from the railway stations... more

Been there in August 2008. I was very surprised with this Novotel, starting at the lobby with a modern decoration and a deer... The staff were helpful showing me where was the bat-cave... say... parking one block away. The room weren´t large, although bigger than Ibis or Mercure standards. It was sufficient for me and my wife. Bathroom wasn't so... more

Our family (two girls 7 and 10 and us) stayed there from 26/12 to 31/12. We have booked an executive room and we were given a very nice true non-smoking room at the 8th floor with a balcony too with a great view, you could also see the top of Stephensdom (which we used to cool our bottles of water... more

This hotel is less than a year old and for a chain hotel the rooms are reasonably nice and well furnished (mattress, bathroom). It also sports a small gym (which wasn't sufficiently ventilated when we were there though) and a sauna. Unlike in many other hotels these facilities are available until 23:00. The staff are very helpful. The hotel lies... more

I have only just returned from Vienna for work and while this was my first journey to a very historic and stately world city, I found this hotel a good compliment to the charm of Klimt, the Ring strasse, and cafes of glauwine. While the city was starting to experience temperatures of about 2 degrees- as an antipodean - I... more

We came to Vienna to see the city and visit family. This hotel is on a great location, just a few minutes from inner center near the Donau Canal. The reception is very clean, nice people and very helpfull. We had our room on the 7th floor, witch was a very nice room. All is as good as new: LCD... more

stayed here from 20-24 Sep 2008. Lobby was bright, with courteous and helpful front desk staff (in particular a young staff by the name of Alena). As mentioned, there is a corner next to the front desk where you can use the Mac for free to check emails. Good security as you need your room cardkey to use the elevators.... more

The rooms are a bit small, but quite clean and modern. The bathroom arrangement is a little awkward, with the toilet in a separate small room, you have to walk out into the main sleeping room to then enter the bathroom with the sink and shower (no tub). But the fixtures are very modern and work well. At first they... more
