We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter period and found the position of the hotel to be exceptionally convenient. There is a UBahn station just around the corner and it is a short walk into the centre of Vienna. The parking is not actually at the hotel and you have to get information and entry codes from Reception before... More

Perfect location to see the city from. Bus stop from airport reasonably close. Very friendly staff. Rooms a little on the small side but very well cared for. Decent location to Christmas markets. Nice little bar on the ground floor.

We stayed here for 4 nights over Easter. The hotel is clean and attractive but more in the functional business sense. None of your olde worlde charm here I'm afraid. All the staff we dealt with during our stay were welcoming and friendly. The location is great - 2 minutes from the UBahn and approx 20mins walk to Stephansplatz. We... More

The Hotel itself is a modest building along the ring It's just next to a Subway exit which makes moving around convenient. The room is neat and clean. The climate control is excellent . Humidity was appropriate for me. Breakfast was also good although the choices are limited for €17 per head. I'd come back to this hotel to book... More

Stayed there during an international conference. Hotel was modern and rooms were well-appointed. Being the Platinum member of Le Club Accor, I had an room upgrade to executive room on high floor and complimentary wifi. The room was clean and tidy. Bathroom has no bathtub but has rain shower. Had sauna and gym in the basement which I found very... More

We stayed here over the weekend with 2 kids. The room was very nice and well equipped. As traveling with a teenager, the free wifi was much appreciated and of good quality. Breakfast was very good, with a large choice on both sweet and salty food. We ordered room service, as the hotel restaurant was fully booked. Service was quick... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
