The rooms in the hotel are fantastic. The hotel is in the Wine Country and there are some magnificent vineyards very close to the hotel. Being on a hill, the rooms offer a truly panoramic vista of Vienna. The reception staff are most courteous and helpful. Cant really fault the hotel. Just as a tip, there is not a lot... More

There is some good things about this hotel. 1.) For sure the best birdview over Vienna from your own private terrace (if you book a suite ) 2.) the matracess are very comfortable 3. )the paintings on the wall are fresh 4.)the suite is spacious with a great terrace The rest is by far under average and not worth the... This Hotel offers something unique: a perfect view over whole Vienna because the Hotel is situated directly on top of the Kahlenberg. The rooms are huge, well furbished, high quality. So is the price :) Definitely above-average rates. But the view is worth it! Of course, you need good weather in order to enjoy it. There is no Restaurant. A... More

if you prefer a magnificent view over the city, and do not mind that you are a 20 to 30 min car-ride away from the town center, then this a great place to be. large appartment with window front opening to a large balkony, from where you have a very nice view to Vienna. I recommend this place in summertime... More

I visited this hotel for a company event. The view across Vienna is really great. The rest of the hotel is just mediocre: tables are very small, food is mediocre (the fruits were all sugared, the Tiramisu tasted of nothing, Meat was ok)

We stayed for two nights in the Presidential Suite and it was amazing! Very nice hotel, highly recommended! But be prepared: it is very expensive! We were lucky because we had a voucher ;-) The only negative point: its a bit farbaway from Viennas city centre... Nevertheless you can get there by public transport

We stayed at the Deluxe suite for one night. We booked this hotel basically because of the best view in Vienna. And we were not disappointed...Breathtaking... The design of the room is very minimalistic and modern, up to one's taste. The room is very spacious and equipped with all necessities, wifi, flat TV, minibar with soft drinks, water and beer... The hotel is in a mixed use building on top of the Kahlenberg that includes private condominiums. Therefore all rooms are very spacious and have a spectacular view of the vineyards below and Vienna. The hotel is not conveniently located to explore the city but will make a nice one night stopover on the way in or out. Check with... More

Staying in Dobling

Neighborhood Profile
Dobling
Vienna’s poshest green leafy suburb is also its most romantic hotspot. Walk up Grinzinger Strasse with its many historic wine taverns. The tops of nearby Nussberg and Reisenberg hills make for great strolls through the vineyards, and the occasional discovery of a hidden winery. Popular local weekend hangouts are Neustift am Walde with even more great wine taverns, and café restaurant Cobenzl, up on Cobenzl hill – fantastic for great vistas of Vienna. The woodland around Kahlenberg has a wonderful and not too strenuous hiking path - just don't forget the insect repellent. If you have adventurous children, take them to Waldseilpark Kahlenberg (forest rope park Kahlenberg). A must-do if you want a taste of the Vienna Woods is a stop at Josefinenhütte next door with its great food, cosy interiors and wonderful outdoor space.
